wondering if it will last..no, it`s
putting on a bra over a sunburn. I'm learning a lot this summer. Slowly, but I'm learning.
I'm learning that boys really aren't everything. That materialistic
things should truly be the least of my worries. I'm learning
not to judge so quickly. To spend more time with my
family. But most of all, I'm learning to keep my
expectations low, of everyone, even the people
I should count on the most. I'm learning to get used to his
leaving and then coming back. I'm learning to live life. , get your hair wet,
love someone, dance in those muddy puddles, tell someone off,
draw a picture with crayons like youre still six years old & then give it to someone whos very important to you.
take a nap, go on vacation, do a cartwheel,
make your own recipe, dance like no one sees you, paint each nail a different color,
take a bubble bath, laugh at a corny joke, get on that table and dance,
pick strawberries, take a jog, plant a garden,
make an ugly shirt & wear it all day, learn a new language, write a song,
date someone you wouldnt usually go for, make a scrap book, go on a picnic,
relax in the sun, make your own home video, kiss the un-kissed,
love the unloved & live your life to the fullest.
so when youre standing in front of heavens gate that chosen day
you have no regrets, no sorrows, no disappointments. In a good relationship, you can live without them, but when they are there, it’s because you want them to be. I think that’s a great lesson for girls. You have to love yourself before anyone else can really love you. You'll never understand a quote,
until you've lived through it. Money might make you wealthy
but friends make you rich it's weird how you go through
a whole year and nothing seems to
change at all. then a year later, you
look back and everything is
completely different. It`s that. . .

Running through sprinklers.
Laughing at an inside joke.
Laughing at yourself.
Laughing so hard your stomach hurts.
Laughing for absolutely no reason at all.
Just plain laughing.
Having someone tell you that you're beautiful.
Friends.
Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you.
Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep.
First kisses.
Making new friends or spending time with old ones.
Playing with a new puppy.
Sweet dreams.
Hot chocolate.
Road trips with friends.
Making chocolate chip cookies.
Holding hands with someone you care about.
Watching the sunrise.
Watching a sunset.
Getting out of bed in the morning after sleeping in and looking out the window to see its sunny, birds are chirping, and kids are playing.
Knowing that somebody misses you.. You must have had a map when everyone
else didn't, because you found your way
into my heart when no one else could don't envy anybody. every person
has something no one else has.
develop that one thing in yourself,
and make it outstanding a best friend is someone who changes your
life just by being part of it. someone who
makes you laugh until you can't stop.
someone who makes you believe that
there is really good in the world.
someone who walks in when the rest of
the world walks out. someone that knows
what you're saying when you don't say a
word. someone you can look to in a certain
way, and they know exactly what you're
thinking. someone you find hardest to say
goodbye to. someone who knows all about
you, and loves you anyway. someone who
helps you through thick and thin. the first
person you go to when you need someone
to talk to. someone you will call to talk about
nothing, or the most important things in your
life. they are the shoulder you cry on, because
you know that they really care about you.
someone you would take a bullet for because
it would be too painful to watch them get
hurt. someone that will risk their friendship
with you, just to make sure you're safe and
okay. someone you can always be around,
and never get sick of. Have you ever found your old journal?
And looked through it all
thinking "Wow. I was dumb." The good moments pass too quickly and the bad ones seem to drag on for all eternity. Why is time so contrary? Summer, after all, is a time when wonderful things happen to quiet people . For those few months, you're not required to be who everyone thinks you are. And that cut-grass smell in the air and the chance to dive into the deep end of a pool, give you the courage you don't have the rest of the year.

| When your hand is in mine, all I'm thinking is, "This is the way it should be." It's days like this when the sun is shining and all I can think about is your face. I like to feel his eyes on me when I look away. I didn't like myself until I met you. I fretted over every little bump on my face, every scar on my arm, every extra pound I saw on the scale. Now, every hair that's out of place and everything that comes out of my mouth wrong doesn't matter. You've embraced me for the way I am. I promise that if you give it your best shot, I'll give it mine. We'll impress the whole world and make them think twice about us. You sit here and you smile at me, and I wonder, have you ever smiled like that at anyone else? I held him close to me with my eyes closed, wondering if anything in my life had ever been this perfect, and knowing at the same time that it hadn't. I was in love, and the feeling was even more wonderful than I ever imagined it could be. Most people are stronger than they know, they just don't believe in themselves. So just kiss me and let my hair messy itself in your fingers. Let me steady myself in the arms of someone who won't ask me to be what he needs, but let me exist as I am. It's when you can't just sit with him, you need to feel him, need his arms around you. When you want everyone to disappear so you can be with him. I know I don't have the prettiest face for you to look at, or the skinniest waist for you to hold, but I promise that I do have the biggest heart to love you with.

times i once knew. As I`ve grown, I`ve learned several things. Life`s full of disappointments & people you trusted will sooner or later let you down. I`ve learned that often those you love will love someone else & there`s only one way to fall; fast & hard. I`ve learned that out of thousands of smiles, it takes one to touch your heart. I`ve found that words can be deceiving, but the truth always lies in a person`s eyes. I`ve learned that everything can change in the blink of an eye & tears often come without invitation. I`ve learned crying can make us stronger & there`s never too much love to go around. I`ve learned that prejudice helps no one & that weapons don`t hurt people, people hurt people. I`ve learned sticks & stones may leave cuts & bruises but harsh words leave scars. I`ve found that every time you give someone a piece of your heart, it`s a piece that you`ll never get back. I`ve learned the past is meant to be put behind us & we can`t dwell on regrets, for what`s done is done. I`ve learned that trusting yourself is the first step & that forgiving is remembering that helps your own heart more then theirs. I`ve found that family isn`t always blood & everyone is someone`s hero. I`ve learned life`s unexpected & that God can do anything. I`ve learned some things aren`t meant to be understood & that only time heals. I`ve found that imagination is our greatest gift & that we`re meant to dream for a reason. I`ve learned it`s never too late to fall in love & that being "beautiful" is all on the inside. Mistakes are our best teachers & everything happens for a reason. Only then can you live life to it`s full & true potential. the happiest people don`t have it all,
they just make the best of what they have. There`s just something about you,
that makes me completely lose my breath. we were just there, together..
& that was enough. Being strong is important. But knowing who
you can count on is equally important. It made me wonder how many times we forgive just because we don`t want to lose someone, even if they don`t deserve our forgiveness. I want to know exactly what makes you tick, I want to know your problems. I want to know what days you`re waking up on the wrong side of the bed, I want to know how many pillows you sleep with. I want to know why you sleep with a window open. I want to know if I`m ever needed, if I`m good enough to keep you warm at night time. I want to know if I even have a chance anymore. I want to know everything about you, whether it be fact or fiction. I want to know your past, your future, your inbetweens. Your favorite colors, your phobias ; everything. You know when someone special touches your life they always know just the right thing to do or say, they can make you feel better just by being near, they listen with an open heart & understand, they laugh with you when whenever you feel alone, they extend their hand when you need support, they`re proud of all that you accomplish, they love you cause you`re you & my life was touched the day I met you He`s looking at me with a smile so decadent, it would make any female want to grab him & hold him forever, & it makes me realize how lucky I am. We pull up to a stoplight, & he leans over
